Troubleshooting

No audio

The song plays through the Windows default sound card: check in Windows which output is selected and its volume, and that the TV or speakers are on that output.

Shortcuts don't respond

The cursor is probably in a text field (search, singer, key): press Esc and try again. O and T don't work while the queue is open: close it with Home.

The audience monitor doesn't go to the TV

The desktop must be set to «Extend», not «Duplicate» (Windows key + P). Then close and reopen the monitor with Ctrl+K: KaraDom sends it to the free screen, or asks which one to use.

Lyrics on the TV are late

Some TVs process the picture and show it late: turn on the TV's «Game» mode, or use Tools → «Audience Monitor Offset…» (Pro).

A song plays without lyrics

The file doesn't contain synced lyrics. Add them with Syncro Text, or create the track with KaraokeCreator. With «Artist - Title» videos the lyrics arrive by themselves with Instant lyrics.

I can't find a song I added

Right-click the folder in Favorites → «Update favorite»: KaraDom rereads the disk. If it's on an external drive, check it's connected.

MIDI doesn't sound right

Open the mixer (MIM) → «🎛 EXPANDER MIDI» and check the source: SoundFont, hardware expander (with «🔄 Detect» and «🔊 Test») or Software Expander.

The license shows as inactive

Restart KaraDom: the license is found in the user-data folder. If needed, About → Info → «✅ Activate the license» with the same code, or «📧 Resend my details email».

The screen recorder doesn't record the backing

Enable «Stereo Mix» in the Windows sound settings or install VB-Audio Virtual Cable.
